    This is an excellent place to study Italian in Venice! The biggest advantage is the small group sizes - I studied here for four weeks, and there was never any more than three people in my group.     Diego, the director of the Venice Italian School, arranged for me to have private lessons at his excellent school. I had visited the school many times over the years to improve my Italian. My teacher this time was Michela, a super-cool Venezian, who taught me so much--not only about grammar but many other topics.
